It starts so innocently: you sign into RedShelf to an empty Shelf. Excited to get reading, you pop in your redemption code, only to see that your code is "no longer valid"...
NO. LONGER. VALID???
This can absolutely be a frustrating speedbump, but it's not a dead end!
If you're experiencing issues redeeming your code for an eBook on RedShelf, there might be two possible snags:
- You could have already redeemed that code under a different account. Maybe you're signed in with your personal email, but a week ago you redeemed the code under your school email? Or perhaps the bookstore you purchased from went ahead and redeemed your book for you, on the email address they had on file? Give these steps a try with some of your other email addresses!
- Just for the sake of accuracy, please ensure that RedShelf is the eBook provider that is meant to fulfill your order. Your bookstore might use other providers. We don't like it, but we get it...we're not jealous...WHAT, we're not!
